Who we are

Out in Snohomish is a grassroots LGBTQ+ social group created by and for people living right here in Snohomish, Washington.

Some of us are new to town and looking to build community. Others have deep roots here and are excited to connect with fellow locals and welcome new neighbors. What brings us together is a shared desire to create a space where LGBTQ+ people—and our allies—can meet, relax, celebrate, and feel at home.

We’re here to make it easier to find your people. Whether you're looking for casual gatherings, meaningful conversations, or new friends to explore Snohomish with, Out in Snohomish offers a place to show up as yourself and be part of something local, kind, and queer.

She keeps our events running smoothly, making sure everything is organized and full of good vibes. When she isn’t planning new events or running our social media, she’s probably gardening, cooking something tasty, or hiking the local trails. After moving to Snohomish a few years ago, Sloane started hunting for LGBTQ+ community—and now she’s helping create one that’s fun, welcoming, and thriving all year long! • Meet Jamie, our Lead Adventure Scout! They are always on the lookout for new event ideas and keeping our social media active. When they aren’t making everyone feel welcome at events you can find them hiking near the water, dancing with friends and making some amazing farm fresh food! They are part of Out in Snohomish to help create a thriving queer community in our little town. Having grown up in Snohomish, they never felt safe being out as queer or trans when they were younger. Through Out in Snohomish they want to make sure that everyone in our community has a chance to be celebrated for who they are and that our community can flourish.

She loves making every gathering feel full of joy, laughter, and community. When she’s not wrangling friends at events, you’ll catch her sipping coffee, tackling the art of pizza, or walking her adorable doodle duo.
