COMMUNITY EVENT - Mend & Make Do, Workshop and Clothing Swap

Join Queer and COVID Cautious Creatives on Sunday, August 31st from 1pm-3pm at The Clearwater School in Bothell to learn how to mend your own clothes (or come just to hang out and sew together!). This event will also be a clothing exchange so bring on down your old clothes and come away with some new ones! All left over clothes will be donated to our local neighbors experiencing homelessness. Donations of clothes sized large and above highly encouraged!

More details:
- The event is free, all ages, and open to all skill levels.
- High quality masks are required and provided and there will be three air filters on during the event.
- The room that the event is held in is wheelchair accessible and includes a wheelchair accessible gender neutral bathroom. The walkway to the room is concrete up to a composite ramp then a slight metal lip for the doorway.
- There is a parking lot in front of the school, some street parking nearby if necessary, and a bus stop about an 8-10 minute walk away.
